NGO activities include, but are not limited to, environmental, social, advocacy and human rights work. They can work to promote social or political change on a broad scale or very locally. NGOs play a critical part in developing society, improving communities, and promoting citizen participation To identify and work along the economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged – starting with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware. Enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, and sustainable quality of life.
NITI Aayog, National Institution for Transforming India comes into existence on 1st January 2015 Any Voluntary Organization/Trust/Society/Non-Profit Organization (Section 8 Company as per Companies Act, 2013) required to get themselves registered in Niti Aayog/NGO Darpan Portal to keep themselves updated with the latest new government schemes receiving grants under various schemes. It is mandatory to get register with NGO Darpan to get approval for government grants & Funding under the government scheme.
